We keep on reading in different employee reviews that there are lots of opportunities in a company, but never in detail. I remember I used to get frustrated as I wanted inside scoop to understand those opportunities in detail. Hence, today I am writing this Publicis Sapient employee feedback about training and learning opportunities in Publicis Sapient.
I work on a Java project in the fintech domain with 100+ people.
Hence, we must have a strong command of technical skills and the finance domain
to deliver excellence.
However, we faced the challenge of upskilling in the team while
taking care of client deliveries as well. So, an official training boot camp
was organized in the team, which spanned for a whole week. We had 4 hours of
training from Monday to Friday during the Christmas-New Year week.
We were taught Java stack technologies like Angular, React, REST API, Hadoop, Spring framework, Microservices and other programming concepts.
What did I love about this boot camp?
- The growth
mindset and learning attitude of the whole team were pushed by our manager
with his session in the starting.
- People were
asked to volunteer themselves as per their interest areas. Many people who
were just a year experienced in the industry got a chance to present
themselves in front of managers, so it was great exposure for them.
- Besides
theoretical knowledge, we discussed practical challenges and insights on
live projects as well for better understanding. Whenever a question was
out of bounds for the trainer, leads chipped in with their expertise.
- Overall, I gained a lot of perspectives and loved the synergies created.
