SAPIENT’S WORK CULTURE IS ALL PRAISES

Sapient is a global technology giant and has multiple offices at multiple locations worldwide. Considering the size of such an organization, it comes with its pros and cons and today I’m going to write about it in a comparative analysis. I work at Sapient Gurgaon and my feedback will be mostly about Sapient Gurgaon work culture and some other policies which are followed globally at all locations. Firstly, the Gurgaon campus is huge and has multiple buildings. Roughly, around 3000-4000 employees work from this location in different shifts and for different processes. Talking about sapient Gurgaon’s work culture, it’s not a hidden thing anymore and people actually talk about the work culture and how it distinguishes sapient from its competitors, it’s actually a good thing to be associated with such a brand and to work. I’ve spent around 8 years here and I’ve seen how this organization has grown over the years. I feel the reason for Sapient’s success is its leadership’s vision. With some incredible leaders leading the brand, it has kept the brand ahead of its competition by continuously bagging business from prestigious clients and by winning the trust of its employees. The policy makers have time and again proven that they are all for the employees welfare by introducing employee friendly policies. If you are someone who wants to learn new things and still be paid for, sapient is the right place for you. No other organization invests so heavily on employee trainings and development sessions like sapient does. The team culture at sapient provides such incredible support to each member of the team as it involves exchange of thoughts and ideas, Implementation of new ways of completing a task, experimenting and learning in a much productive way. Everyone learns from everyone without feeling burdened. The work is distributed evenly thus giving time to each employee to maintain a healthy work and life balance. This team culture also makes one realize the importance of other people at work and also in life. People realize that to overcome many challenges in life, one might not be enough when working solo, but when they work as a team, the challenge looks petty to overcome. While enjoying its share of success, sapient has also faced tough situations at times. Change of leadership brings change in the working style of any organization but having spent such a long time here, I can assure that the working culture of sapient is so strong, that it doesn’t get effected easily. Some people also complain about the HR department being too lazy, but I can say that its mostly situational and nobody does it deliberately.
